Fun At The Center Of It All
The West Fargo Soccer Club (WFSC) is a community-based, non-profit athletic club that offers recreational and competitive soccer programs for kids kindergarten through age 19. The club is in the midst of a transition from a small, local club in West Fargo that only offered one program (summer competitive for kids ages 9-19) to a larger club that offers year-round programming (spring, summer and fall recreational; summer and fall competitive; and winter academy training) for kids throughout the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo metropolitan area and surrounding region. FredComm worked with Clay County Public Health (CCPH) and its regional partners in the Smoke-Free Air for Everyone (SAFE) Coalition to heighten awareness regarding the dangers of secondhand smoke exposure and encourage grassroots activism. Over a two-year period, we used the anniversaries of the adoption of a smoke-free workplace ordinance in Moorhead, Minn. as a platform for educational and grassroots organizational campaigns aimed at strengthening and extending the ordinance. Center for Success, Devils Lake, N.D., provides outpatient and continuous care services for clients of any age, as well as residential transitional living services for teens and young adults who have completed an alcohol or drug addiction treatment program. Its programs are built on years of experience in helping people move beyond their addictions in positive, empowering ways. As a new not-for-profit, Center for Success needed a strong brand identity and assistance in focusing its messaging for a variety of audiences and stakeholders. Read more …
