FredComm worked with Clay County Public Health (CCPH) and its regional partners in the Smoke-Free Air for Everyone (SAFE) Coalition to heighten awareness regarding the dangers of secondhand smoke exposure and encourage grassroots activism. Over a two-year period, we used the anniversaries of the adoption of a smoke-free workplace ordinance in Moorhead, Minn. as a platform for educational and grassroots organizational campaigns aimed at strengthening and extending the ordinance.  Read more …

Fargo Jet Center (FJC) is an aviation services company that serves as a fuel stop for private planes, provides charter aircraft services, aircraft sales and flight instruction. With the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation to its passenger terminal, FJC wanted to make a splash with prospective charter clients in the community. DMI is a wind tower manufacturer in West Fargo, N.D. with additional facilities in Tulsa, Okla., and Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. The company got its start as a machine tool fabricator and refurbisher in the 1970s and began manufacturing wind towers in the late 1990s. From 2004 through 2008, FredComm helped rebuild DMI’s brand and position the company as a wind tower leader. Read more …

HUSUM WindEnergy is the world’s leading fair and congress for the international wind energy industry. Held in Husum, Germany, HUSUM becomes the center of global wind energy every two years. HUSUM hired FredComm in 2008 to “Americanize” the English on its website, help with trade media relations in North America and carry out special projects such as inviting government and industry leaders and obtaining a video greeting from the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Energy.
